Our second time at the Gables with the lovely hosts Lois and Bill. Great breakfast with Lois' extraordinary baking skills. We hope we can visit this B&B again.

Great place for large groups. There was tons of room to spread out and even get a little quiet time away from the group.
The house was clean and everything was in mostly working order (the back patio doors have definitely seen better days). The neighborhood was quiet and really easy to navigate. The house is a bit outside of the main "tourist" area and makes it feel more tranquil and secluded.
There was tons of parking out front and easy to navigate.
The wifi worked well, it was a bit hard to locate where the password was however. It would be nice if there was a book or binder for the house that outlined a few things (wifi password, house rules, etc).
Check in was easy, the keypad was a bit scratched up and a bit hard to read.
Overall the value for the space and cost was great.
Set in a picturesque hillside setting, overlooking rolling hills, this gem, a well appointed accommodation, lovingly restored and upgraded caboose, immaculately clean, a real treat for rail aficionados and lovers of nostalgia. The hosts are gracious and warm and go the extra mile to make a stay charming and memorable.
