The place was overbooked and we were sent to a different place for 2 nights. When we went back to our original booking it wasn’t ready. The only upside was the maintenance crew Matt and Keith were very helpful and accommodating. We will not return. Very unhappy. Location was the only good part very central

Great communication with the host, we never met him, but Cameron seems like a great guy! Loved his book explaining the area, and he worked very hard on that book, and we appreciated his efforts. Check in and check out was super easy. Room far exceeded my expectations. Looked a bit run down in the pictures, but was actually very nice. Location was great, bed was comfortable. Would love to know where Cameron bought the blankets and sheets, would buy them myself. Good sized little fridge. Enjoyed eating out on the veranda.

Gorgeous beach with a mix of white sand and beautiful views of red cliffs. The area includes the Anne of Green Gables Heritage site and the Arglye Park - both can be visited in a day trip. Cavendish beach and surrounding area is definitely worth a visit for a day or 2!

Lots of family fun attractions!
Lots of family fun attractions! We always find something new to do while visiting PEI, but also make a point of visiting our favorite attractions such as the Haunted Mansion in Kensington and the Boardwalk and Sandspit in Cavendish

Everything is very expensive, especially food, no fast food restaurants at all (a McDonald's would of been nice) ended up paying $80 for a very basic pub meal (no drinks) for two adults and one kid.
For a family of three each difference experience was about $100 ( the amusement parks, tourists attractions and such)
Lots to do if you have the money.

The shower stall was a show stopper.
The shower stall was a show stopper. Waaay too small..no place for toiletries..not enough outlets.tv outdated. Couch from the 80s. Needed more outlets or a surge protectors outlet strips. Bed was very comfortable. Colors of kitchen bathroom nice. Place was clean and the kitchen. Was quaint and nice. Mount a modest flat screen on the wall and put a futon w removable, washable covers. The pictures online showed well trimmed grounds and painted cute cottages. When we got there..the grounds were over grown and every building needed painting!!! Yikes. Young woman at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. We decided to leave after one night as we were too stressed put looking at all the work that needed to be done around the place and shower stall was too challenging to maneuver!!! Probably never get our money back for the 3 days of our reservation I paid for in advance and did not use.

There was a lot to do around this area - especially if you arrived a week or two earlier AND if there hadn’t been a hurricane bearing down on the region!
By September 20 a lot of restaurants and businesses are closed for the season - but then again the Provincial Parks are no longer charging fees! (And with “the warmest ocean waters north of the Carolinas”, my husband even swam in the sea at Sally’s Beach!)
A hurricane of historic proportions (Fiona) was aimed at PEI/maritime Canada, so we had two and a half days of okay weather, during which local folks were preparing for the storm. It was lovely, but as we fled to the Confederation Bridge and mainland ahead of predicted devastation we agreed out hadn’t REALLY been a fair chance to evaluate Prince Edward Island.

It's a seasonal town with plenty of activities for adults and children.
If your interested in Anne of Green Gables, you can see all the attractions concerning the author in a day.
Prices for the attractions are reasonable, gift shops are priced as expected, you don't feel cheated and lots to see and lots of history.
A nice variety of restaurants, but only one place for a sit down breakfast.
Very clean, easy to navigate, good space between each cabin! The playground was good for all ages, love that they provide BBQ with propane and all the utensils to use for it. All the staff were kind, helpful and friendly. We felt very welcomed and they accommodated to the needs we had. Fair pricing, we definitely felt it was worth the money. Right in the middle of PEI, 2 min drive to the cavendish beach, and everything else was within less than one hour. Everything is well thought out
The cottage is very clean, tidy and cute. Equipped with any necessary kitchenair. You can do your own cooking on the stovetop, in the oven or with barbecue. Absolutely loved the two big pools. There are also playgrounds for kids too! The location is very convenient, closed to a lot of restaurants and other businesses, i.e. Mini golf, family fun park and beaches, etc. people were very friendly. It made us feel very homie and relaxed. Will come back again!
Cabin was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean, with comfortable beds, nice linens on beds and in bath. Kitchen was equipped to cook a meal, including tools for eating seafood, plus there was a barbecue. Wifii was great! Heated pool on site was well maintained, clean and very refreshing! Laundry facilities on site were bonus. Owner was very accommodating in letting us extend our stay cuz we loved Cavendish and the cabin so much!
Very clean., quaint, nice artwork on the wall by a local painter. Good location if you like Anne of Green Gables. North Rustico is not the nicest part of the island but it’s centrally located to be able to explore more. Close to the PEI National Park/ Cavendish Beach which is ok to see. Decent breakfast. Located near amusement park, and has two swimming pools; therefore good for families with kids. Not so much for romance.
Had no breakfast but the location was ideal, it’s very close to a lot of amenities. Cavendish beach is 5 minutes drive, Green Gables 1 km walk. Lot’s of restaurants, shopping etc.(small town vibe). Easy to get to Charlottetown or any where else. Sidewalks would have been nice on both sides of the road but that’s not hotel issue.
Breakfast was not included as advertised both on your site and the hotel site. We only picked this Inn for that reason because everything is closed as of Sept 15. We were very disappointed and would not return again because of this, think we should have been reimbursed for the amount of two breakfasts.
The location was great. There is a walking path to the beach that is super close by. It’s close to a good restaurant (the Lost Anchor). The breakfast that was included was amazing and the chef was super friendly and welcoming. There was a pool and the grounds were really nice.
our daily breakfasts were awesome with the extra smiles and attentive service from the staff..location was perfect and walkable to the provincial cavendish beach property. golf nearby and very picturesque..
great place for families as it is nearby anne of green gables museum.
Lovely clean cottage rooms that were centrally located to Cavendish beaches and attractions. Grounds are well kept and the heated pool was certainly enjoyed. Very nice property overall, room rates were very reasonable. We will definitely stay there again!
Owner/staff was amazing. Property was extremely close to all opportunities in Cavendish. We went out of season and were treated wonderfully. I would definitely stay here in the future.
This property has many cottages in a quiet setting near highway and beach. Great cottage with lots of space. We enjoyed the quiet setting and staff was very helpful.
The room is clean and have mostly I need. The kitchen is a plus! Location is marvellous, near the market, restaurants and less than 10mins drive to the beach.
The cottage was super cute and comfortable with everything a family would really need on vacation. By far the best value I could find this close to Cavendish.
Owners were amazing! Super helpful. Great location in the rolling hills just out of Cavendish. Perfect spot as we were at the music festival for several days.
