It was a very nice room, with a large and very comfortable bed. We only slept there so we did not take any breakfast. Everything was clean and it was a situated in a calm area.

When arriving we got invited into the house by the host (and a very sweet dog) and sat around the kitchen table where he explained everything to us. In the morning we joined the family at the kitchen table again for a chat, and a very luxurious breakfast with freshly baked eggs and bacon, fruits, yoghurt, buns, and even chocolate buns! :) The location is very calm and quiet but still close to the city centre where there is a variety of cozy bars and restaurants.

Our stay at 't Solveldje was outstanding! Stefan is a great host who made us feel like at home since 1st minute. He speaks 5 languages, so communication was never a problem!
We stayed in a private room in the garden, with access to our private bath and a shared sauna and jacuzzi (During our stay the other room was empty, so it was basically private as well). Our small dog also enjoyed his stay and met Stefan's pets (cats and dogs).
The breakfast was very good with plenty of options!
Also Stefan was kind to introduce us to his owls and even let us pet them.

The house is located in the quiet neighbourhood with a nice garden. Officially our check-in time is 16:00 but the owner is so lovely and accept for us to check-in from 15:00. The room has enough things that you might need: watercooker, coffee, tea,….. with a clean private bathroom.
10+ for the owner because she is so friendly and nice. Never hesitate to recommend this place for visitors. Give it a try if you travel in this region.

I've stayed in many B&Bs and Hotels in many places but nowhere quite compares. The rooms are spacious and quiet and just lovely. Breakfast was substantial with everything you could want. It was a special occasion for my parents and Stefan went out of his way to make it so for them. Sauna was just so nice and relaxing with zen music and insence burning. Just exceptional. Can't wait to go back and stay longer next time.
Fantastic stay and would highly recommend for short or longer stays.
My only qualm really was that the restaurant and bar was closed on the Friday and Saturday evening due to private functions which was a bit disappointing as it would have been lovely to fully enjoy the hotel facilities.
Apart from that , then an amazing stay in an amazing hotel.
The hotel restaurant was fully booked due to weddings so couldn't get in. However, receptionist gave us a very good recommendation for excellent De Gouden Tak restaurant about 2 km down the road. Only used the swimming pool in spa facility which was pleasant and the room was very good. Excellent location for Alden Bilzen Castle.
A warm heartfelt welcome. A lovely couple, and a cute little dog. The apartment is lovely, designed with harmony, love for details, and the clear intention to make the guest feel comfortable. There is a fully equipped kitchen. Breakfast is generous. In walking distance from the train station, and from Bilzen centre.

Everything. The hosts were the best I've ever come across and so helpful. The variety of animals at the property kept me company on my lone journey and the rooms and facilities was top-notch. The hosts truly went above and beyond to make my stay and order of business in Bilzen, the best it could be!
super clean , comfortable , great room with good facilities. Breakfast outstanding, homemade yoghurt, bread and ample portions. Better than most hotels. Great hosts who enjoy having guests.
The location was ideal for me as I needed to be close to Bilzen. The breakfast was fantastic. Homemade bread and yogurt with lots more - too much to eat it all. Excellent quality food.
A beautiful hotel, very modern inside. All the desk staff spoke great English and were great giving advice on things like parking, all the good restaurants to eat at.
