The whole stay was brilliant. So clean and quaint staying in the old 'Horse Stables'.The only disappointment was my fault, as I forgot to help myself to a free wine from the decanter :). Absolutely will stay again. It's a credit to the owners how much care they have put into the property. Well done and see you soon :)

We had a great stay. The penthouse had everything we wanted, lots of space in the lounge area, kitchen with equipments. The building was an old one but it was clean and tidy. Reception staff were friendly and nice. Always promptly replied to our queries and kind enough to extend the check out time.
The Aspen & Apartments offers clean and comfortable rooms just 10 minutes’ walk from Sale town center. All rooms include over 80 cable TV channels, heating and air conditioning.

We found the people of Sale a little strange? Not many say hello and im big on that. The Irish pub had good dinners but all male waiters which we found unusual. The sporting Legends was really good and is much more up market. The Rose fish n chip shop was excellent. Beer was good and cold everywhere.

We enjoyed our visit here- were lucky enough to see the swinging bridge in action, wandered around the Botanic gardens and the Port of Sale. The art gallery had some interesting displays and the information office was helpful. Enjoyed a nice meal at the historic Criterion Hotel. If we had longer we could have done a day trip to Yarram to see the murals.

Sale has a small river port at southern end of town centre where there is also, what appears to be, a new theatre. Plenty of varieties of eateries and some good pubs. A bustling country town which is alive. Has a botanical gardens and most things are within walking distance.

Love the city of Sale, not a lot to do but still a lovely place to visit and relax. Some cute bakeries and local cafes/businesses. Great for a weekend trip or a mid week trip, probably more so without kids.
We had dinner at Sporting Legends, surprisingly not super busy for a Saturday night. The the Central Bakery was absolutely delicious for our lunches on both Saturday and Sunday.
Most businesses are open both days of the weekend as well, so you have some variety on food and shopping, plus there is also Aldi, Woolworths and Coles for shopping as well.
Really such a relaxing and inviting place.
Beautiful property still being developed/improved, slightly out of town centre in a lovely, quiet location. Friendly, helpful host who provided great recommendations for dining in the area. Comfortable room with everything you need provided - including complimentary tim tams and port - thank you, much appreciated. This is a far nice option than staying in a hotel room on the main road. We enjoyed out stay at Bon Accord and will be back if ever we need to stay in Sale again.
The location of the hotel just 5 mins from the town of Sale was excellent for me as I was driving my own car. if you don't have a car it would be too out of town for ease.
The staff were lovely, very helpful and the room was very good value for the price.
The bathroom was lovely, recently renovated with a nice big shower. Lovely to have toiletries and a a very powerful hairdryer too.
Lovely outdoor garden area with pool that would be good for summer.
Sensational hotel, exceeded my expectations especially for a regional hotel. Loved the double studio, perfect for my family. TV's in each room, very modern and clean. Access to Netflix was a nice bonus. Hotel has a pub restaurant down stairs that also offers room service (very easy to order through the phone) and gluten free options 😀

The motel was in a great location. It was close to the town center and it's easily accessible to buy anything that is needed. The rooms had googlecast enabled TV that you can easily use to watch any streaming service you have on your mobile devices.
The room was very nicely renovated, clean and comfortable. I had dinner in the front restaurant and really enjoyed the food. This was a great option for me as I was working in Sale and needed a comfortable, well-priced hotel for one night.
Cheap and cheery. Great value. Greeted with a beaming smile from the lady at reception. It’s a very old motel, and needs a major facelift. Not the cleanest outside, but inside was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable.
Owners were very accommodating we called ahead to make sure our booking had gone through and she held a room for us and organized a key outside of office hours. Room was huge and very comfortable.
Big shout out to the lady at reception on Friday night, couple of minor issues with the room, and once mentioned she went out of her way to rectify immediately.
Wonderful customer service.
Good location. Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Like the old fashioned breakfast door should be on all motels. Good for Covid situation. Breakfast was good hot food was hot.
Everything was very clean and modern. They had everything you could wish for. We had washer and dryer in our studio unit and that was a very welcome and pleasant surprise!
