This is extraordinary hotel! Placed on the top of the hill (over 900 m above mean sea level) with beautiful views, very good cuisine based on natural products and very good beer in the bar. Rooms are very clean, beds comfortable but what's the most important is the staff that is very open and helpful (supported by a friendly dog welcoming guests :-) ). It is clearly visible, everything that happens in this place is done with heart and love, and guests can easily feel it. This is place that definitely deserves more than just 10 stars/points.

Hirscheggerhof is situated in Western Styria, just 100 metres from the village centre of Hirschegg. Hiking and cycling trails start right on the doorstep.

Our experience included the utilization of the sauna facilities, which contributed to our overall satisfaction. Ample and free parking was readily available. The very nice historic building with exeptionally spacious rooms and modern bathrooms. The place and staff are friendly to foreigners. Delicious breakfast with local products. Excellence. Christina and Andreas were amazing hosts. Nothing was too much trouble with a smile. Cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in across the world. Food was fantastic although we were unable to finish the serves. They even organised us a helicopter to the Austrian MotoGP and back. Superb stay
