The location of the apartament was very good as for stay overnight during the longer travel. We also appreciated the possibility to park 2 cars as we were 6 people. I really regret we missed the beautiful views as we had very cloudy and rainy time.

Located west of Villach, the municipal area stretches along the lower Gail valley in southern Carinthia at the foot of the Villacher Alpe (Dobratsch) massif, the eastern extension of the Gailtal Alps. It comprises the cadastral communities of Kerschdorf (Črešnje), Saak (Čače), and Sankt Georgen (Šentjurij).

Nötsch is a quiet town, minutes away from Villach and the Gailtal. It is a great starting point to hike Dobratsch or explore the Schütt. It is interlaced with narrow, but drivable, roads. We loved the bakery located next to the museum.
Family Oitzl are wonderful, welcoming, and thoughtful hosts. The home has all the comforts one would want when on vacation including a full kitchen, BBQ, comfy beds and beautiful, peaceful nature outside. There was plenty of room for our dog the enjoy the yard while we relaxed. Also, Notsch is a perfect little town with easy train access to explore the valley, nearby grocery store (we did not have a car), restaurants, and even a beautiful river inlet for swimming and cooling off in hot weather.
The room is very spacious, we stayed in a triple room with a breathtaking mountain view. Everything was very clean, the pension owners are extremely friendly, very good hosts. The beds are very comfortable, we slept very well, that's very important if you have problems with your back and are a bad sleeper like me. I can't recommend it enough, i wouldn't change it for any 4,5 star hotel even if it was for free.
Perfect stay in a lovely hotel, run by a very friendly staff. The room was spacious and clean, equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast offered a variety of tasty products. The garden around the hotel was amazing - very well kept and spacious. All in all, a really recommend stay. We'll definitely come back.
Hotel rooms are refurbished, bathrooms are original, but renovated and great retro feeling. Everything was extra clean and tidy.
Owner is super kind and caring.
Great breakfast. We did not have a problem arriving late. Best stop before skiing in Nassfeld. We'll be back :)
Nice owner, Excellent service. The whole family was running the place. Good breakfast, Hotel was like from the beginning of 2000, but clean and not anyway weary.
The village was small but there was a good restaurant. Very nice experience overall
It's a tiny and cosy hotel! The staff was very friendly and the view at the mountains was gorgeous. They also did extra effort ( chocolates on the bed, sparkling wine, candles in the bathroom) because i asked to make the room romantic.
As a family who loves to travel during holidays, it brings us joy to stay in typical places with character from a certain region, instead of boring generic hotels. This house was just as we expected and we loved it!
