We spent a night in goris after visiting tatev monastery that day it was covered with mist so we could not have a clear view of the monastery but still we enjoyed the fresh air of goris and the nearby shaki waterfall

Goris is one of the least discovered places in Armenia by tourists. I would say it is the only city with original architecture surviving. The scenery is outstanding and you see greens everywhere you walk. The pointy rocks in the mountains are unique. People are very friendly BUT the taxi drivers charge tourists double!
