Hidden away from the island's busier area and offering a private beach, Larissa Samed resort features comfortable rooms, a garden and free WiFi access. In short, everything. The staff are all very kind and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location is great--peaceful and quiet, save for the obnoxious snorkel tour boats that tie up off the beach and blare extremely loud music for no reason, which is no fault of the property.

An island getaway awaits at Ao Cho Grand View Resort in Ko Samed, a 2-hour 30-minute drive from Bangkok. Surrounded by sand and sea, it offers free Wi-Fi throughout the property. We had a beach-side bungalow and the morning views were amazing. The beach was beautiful with cristal clear water and white sand, good to swim the whole day. The restaurant was also good and it was nice to enjoy some good drinks on the beach ;-) The staff was very helpful and supported us also with the boat transfers and even called our taxi driver which we have organised on our own to make sure he waits at the correct location. The resort is also located very well- it is on a quiet beach, but next by you can find a local massage booth and some relaxing bars. On the other aide you can walk to the next beach (5 minutes) where you can find the classic Thai beach restaurants with fire shows every night. We really liked this mix.

Sai Kaew Beach Resort sits on the adjacent Pineapple and Sai Kaew beaches on Koh Samet. It offers 3 outdoor pools, 2 beachfront restaurants and a variety of water sports. The location, staff, and cleanliness were all excellent.

Samed Pavilion Resort er staðsett í Koh Samet, aðeins 40 metrum frá Ao Phai-ströndinni. Þar er útisundlaug með sólpalli, veitingastaður og ferðaþjónustuborð. A really cosy little resort with a small, but nice pool area. Short distance to beach and good restaurants.
