The hotel is set in a lush, peaceful, serene garden, moments from the beach. The staff are very friendly, kind and helpful. The breakfast is the best! The two pools are stunning.

Absolutely our best hotel on our holiday. The breakfast is available at any time from 7am - 4pm, and made to order. It was exceptional. The restaurant is next to the beach. You can even eat on the beach if you prefer. The rooms were excellent. The pool was large and is an infinity type with seamless views out to sea. There are 2 other pools directly accessible from the ground floor rooms. The loungers were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for the fabulous staff. We were lucky enough to be there when they did a fabulous 'Valentine's night dinner.

Would go there again any time! Really a really nice place, the room, pool, staff, evening boat trip to see the fireflies, restaurant, breakfast - everything was very good!

Great location with a fantastic sunset view! I was staying at the Grand Villa suite, which was incredibly beautiful. Staff was very friendly and warm welcome.

The Du Talay is a small family run hotel with 21 cosy rooms under Thai/German management. 4 years ago it was fully renovated. The rooms are very well equiped. We rented the room with the jaccuzi and it was phenomenal! Spacious living room large bathroom with sea view, comfy bed, Netflix on TV. Large private terrace. The breakfast was okay, maybe a little bit bland after a while. The staff was nice, the aircon worked great. Good location to reach both sides of the island. We also rented the scooter (125cc) from them and it worked great. The beach in front of the hotel is not usable 24/7, at high tide it's simply underwater. The area around the hotel offers many restaurants, the small night market next to it is also nice.
