The host couple are amazing, so friendly, helpful and genuinely nice people. They give great advice on where to go and give you a lift each time you need to go to the bus or train station. Rooms are basic but a good size and a fridge with water you get each day. The location is perfect with a lovely garden and you're right next to a local market if you fancy a Thai breakfast. Easy bike ride into town to the night markets and main strip, imo if you come to kanchanaburi this is the area you want to stay in. You can hire bikes to get into town only 40 baht and can hire a motorbike if you want to travel further away.

The setting by the river is fantastic and the pool is just great. All the staff are so nice and helpfull. My wife and I have just stayed five nights here and would definiteley go back. River Kwai Resotel is a villa-style resort nestled on the banks of the Kwai Noi River in Kanchanaburi. It features air-conditioned rooms with an outdoor pool and a restaurant. A wonderful hotel with a large area. We lived in a bungalow overlooking the river, the bungalow was in excellent condition, very comfortable beds, beautiful view. There are 2 swimming pools on site, good food, live music in the restaurant in the evening. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

Located in Kanchanaburi, Boutique Raft Resort, River Kwai features rooms on a floating raft and within the resort’s main building. The resort was attractive and finished and maintained to a great level. Lovely rooms and bathrooms. I wish we could have stayed longer. Great food. Staff very helpful in organising us a driver to take us to Erewan falls and back to Bangkok via a stop in Kanchanaburi. Value for money for the 5 of us. Did the bamboo rafting which was a fun activity. Free pickup from Nam Tok train station.
