Situated by the Nidelva River in the picturesque Bakklandet district of Trondheim, Scandic Bakklandet offers free WiFi and rooms with flat-screen cable TVs. Stayed for wedding night. Got cards, and candy from the staff when we arrived. Got a free late check out. And I'm sure we also got upgraded. The service was amazing.

This hotel is set in a former 19th-century bakery, just 350 metres from Trondheim Central Station. Room rates include a popular breakfast buffet, WiFi and leisure facility access. The hotel is located in a very convenient place. Close to the river, to the train station, to the center (the hotel is already in the center). The breakfasts are delicious! amazing food selection. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The hotel also has a well-equipped gym (and a sauna, but I didn't have a chance to use it). The room was comfortable and clean. The nearby is safe, clean and quite.
