All people working in the hotel were extremely helpful and polite. Location is perfect, with amazing views. Breakfast was outstanding, and of course the bathtubs overlooking the fjord.

Located in a quiet oceanfront area on the island of Averøy, this former Bacalao (salt modified and dried cod) factory has been restored into a rustic guesthouse. Easily the best place I have stayed at in Norway (but I’ve been mostly camping and staying at hostels). This place had everything. Cute location, beautiful waterfront few, cosy ocean decorations, in-room kitchen and shower (with sharp knives!), free laundry, top-notch friendly and casual staff with lots of local knowledge of Norwegian culture, a downstairs restaurant serving local food… I really wish I stayed here for a much longer time, but I had to get on the road again.

This hotel is located next to the Atlantic Ocean Road on the beautiful island of Håholmen. It offers unique fishing trips, sea safaris and boat cruises. Fantastic place with lots of history. Stayed in 300 year old room. Very good food in restaurant. Klippfisk was absolutely superb. Breakfast was very good with many choices hot and cold. Highly recommend to stay at this place if you travel the Atlanterhavsroad.

Overlooking the Geiranger Fjord, this spa hotel offers a rooftop garden, free parking and rooms with free Wi-Fi access, a minibar and a TV. The Flydalsjuvet viewing point is 4 km away. Beautiful hotel, with a great location and view. Really comfortable beds and spacious bathroom. The pools are amazing and the spa is the best. All the staff was very friendly with us.

Situated in central Ålesund, Scandic Parken offers free WiFi, a popular buffet breakfast and rooms with cable TV and a minibar. Byparken Park is situated 50 metres away. Scandic standard quality, but with an outstanding breakfast buffet.

This waterfront hotel is a 2-minute drive from the Molde Ferry Terminal. It features amazing Molde Fjord views and an-onsite restaurant and bar. Free WiFi is available. The view is spectacular, the little balcony was also nice to have coffee and fresh air in the morning. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The bed was comfortable with more than enough blankets and the shower was good too!

In the village of Sæbø with its dramatic views of the Sunnmørsalpene mountains and Hjørundfjorden, this waterfront hotel comes with its own restaurant and free Wi-Fi. A small single room with a large bath, clean, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious dinner on site restaurant, robust breakfast included, great location with view. Was able to do laundry for a small fee.

Room was comfortable, and very quiet. Breakfast was good with wide variety of choices. Staff was helpful both when adjusting dinner to accommodate food intolerance and when providing information about the area.

Featuring sea views, this stylish hotel is set in a renovated Art Nouveau-style warehouse by the Ålesund Strait. Guests can enjoy cocktails and a wide selection of wine at the on-site ARKIVET Bar. The hotel was perfectly located for exploring Ålesund and beyond. The rooms were comfortable and the staff were welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the outdoor baths and the breakfast was excellent, catering to all tastes.
