מלון טן קאטה אמן (Hotel ten Cate Emmen) ממוקם במרחק הליכה לגן החיות אמן (Emmen Zoo), למרכז העיר אמן (Emmen) וליער נורדברגר (Noordbarger). The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The only drawback is no little refrigerator in our room.

Situated at a 5-minute drive from the town Meppel in the natural reserve Het Reestdal, Havixhorst Estate features a Chateauhotel and restaurant. Each suite has an individual style. The hotel is truly magnificent. Beautiful building, rooms and staff are beyond professional and accommodating. My wife and I have travelled over 80 countries and the Chateauhotel De Havixhorst is likely the best accommodation we have ever had the privilege of visiting. And the restaurant and dining was just as exceptional. Truly a place worth making a special trip for.

Only 20 km from Assen, Abdij de Westerburcht in Westerbork features uniquely themed rooms with free Wi-Fi. great location, comfortable room and actually able to controle the temperature and not limited to 19/20 degrees like some hotels nowadays
