Dublin can be reached in a 30-minute drive. Exceptional location. Beautiful hotel with luxurious interior. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was very good - better than expected.

Set in a Designated Area of Natural Beauty, the award winning BrookLodge & Macreddin Village has elegant modern rooms and extensive facilities which include an indoor-to-outdoor pool, Hammam massage centre and sauna. Free WiFi is available throughout. Hard to single out a particular thing as our two day stay was thoroughly enjoyable. All the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The smell of burning wood from the open fire in the reception lounge. The outdoors hot tub is so enjoyable. Everything in the spa is spotless and very well maintained (swimming pools, sauna, steam room) and comfortable. We did not opt for the fine dining restaurant but enjoyed tasty light food in the confortable bar-lounge.

On the picturesque seafront with beautiful views across the Irish Sea, The Martello Hotel offers hotel rooms or self-catering apartments. There is free Wi-Fi and the rail station is a 5-minute walk away. We liked it all! First we were not sure: it was rated two -star and our first hotel which was next to it was rated four and we didn't like it too much. We started with breakfasts: they started there an hour earlier than at our hotel and the service was superb! Than we moved in and were not disappointed. The same ocean view, very clean and cosy room, the friendliest staff we ever met, like family, good food...

The award-winning Redmond Restaurant serves both modern and traditional Irish cuisine alongside an extensive range of wines. Very old world Hotel, in a lovely setting. Good shower and comfy bed. Lovely looking restaurant, we didn't eat there, but it's available. There is a service station close by for snacks if needed.

Tinakilly Hotel offers traditional bedrooms with satellite TV, bathrobes and tea/coffee. Beautiful country home with gardens. So many beautiful places to sit and relax.

With its open fire and extensive ales selection, it's the perfect place to unwind after a day in the Wicklow Mountains. this lovely hotel is set in a lovely little village and the warmth and friendliness of the staff and locals really made our stay

Delicious food is available in the award-winning Pottery Restaurant and also in the Ferrybank Lounge, which offers live music on selected nights. The comprehensive wine list offers a selection of expertly selected wines to complement your meal. I liked the walk around the hotel, the birds and the lake. The hotel was nice and the room clean. We ordered in. Food was good.
