Friendly and helpful owner. Though we were staying for one night we arrived with a large case as we were travelling onward and were offered to move to a ground floor room to avoid hauling luggage upstairs which was very much appreciated! Our room was spotless, large comfy bed and bathroom with great heat/water pressure. Breakfast was delicious!

The location of this property was amazing, 2 min walk to city center. The room was spacious, clean and comfy. All the staff were lovely, warm and very helpful.

The gym and pool were of a very high standard. Our room was excellent. It was my husband's birthday and they had a special dessert plate sent up to the room. The grounds are awesome too. LuSeas Restaurant is uniquely situated on the top floor of the hotel with striking views.Guests can also relax in the on-site spa and indoor swimming pool. EVERYTHING was amazing. Robert at reception took such excellent care of me when I wasn’t able to stay at the hotel I had planned in Galway and needed to come two days early. It was such a great welcome after a very long day of driving, and I found the room was clean, huge, warm in the cold and with a lovely view. Bathroom was spotless, bed was comfy, and the restaurant on the main floor is excellent. SO delicious. The view from LuSeas on the top floor is wonderful, and the breakfast included with stay is amazing. Every staff member I interacted with, from the hospitality staff to the front desk to the porters was friendly and helpful. I even had a massage at the spa from Kashia, and it was amazing!! Westport itself is a sweet little town. Went to Mass at the local parish and it was reverently celebrated and beautiful. Westport is a very easy jumping block to go to so many other places- Knock shrine, Galway, Achill island, and much more. I have NO hesitations in recommending it to anyone!!

Each bedroom at Westport Country Lodge has a unique design, toiletries and an Italian-style bathroom. Elevator, room was good size and comfortable. The restaurant was very good also.
