Amazing stay in this beautiful B&B. Very friendly and helpful hosts and the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel or B&B. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Gorgeous location with views on the water from every angle. Would definitely recommend staying there if you are visiting the area. But, don't forget the cash to pay for the reservation. The local ATM charges a 14% fee!

Located at the entrance of Youghal Harbour, Avonmore House B&B is set in a Georgian house, on the grounds of a former Franciscan Abbey. Mary and John were extremely helpful. Our room was absolutely delightful, with a little sitting area in front of the TV set. Like everywhere in Ireland, therre were beautiful flowers everywhere. My travel companion especially liked the bedside lamps, which were of a beautifully simple design and allowed her to read easily when in bed. Also, since she has food allergy issues, Mary went out of her way to get her the food she wanted and could eat.
