Located at the entrance of Youghal Harbour, Avonmore House B&B is set in a Georgian house, on the grounds of a former Franciscan Abbey. It is just off a 5-mile sandy beach and less than 3 minutes’ walk from the city centre. Mary and John were extremely helpful in so many ways! John is an amazing chef and Mary went out of her way to accommodate our needs! would highly recommend this lovely couple’s amazing place!

Many of the rooms boast superb views of the Atlantic. Friendly staff, delicious dinners in the bar, great breakfast options with ingredients from their own garden, very relaxing, super dog-friendly. Spacious bathroom and bedroom, fantastic views.

The host Mary made us feel very welcome and served up a fresh and generous breakfast which set us up very well for another day of travel on our trip. Highly recommended if staying in the area!

Rivermount House is a boutique-style guest house overlooking the Bandon River outside Kinsale town. In peaceful surroundings, spacious bedrooms have countryside views, bathtubs and satellite TVs.

With just 6 bedrooms, all with king-sized beds, there is a relaxed ambiance at Rivermount. Rooms are individually decorated and all offer work desks and seating areas, hair dryers and free Wi-Fi. Kinsale is a beautiful town, just 10 minutes away from this lovely property. The property is situated in a tranquil area with a beautiful view of the river and nearby farms. We were travelling as a family with 2 kids (age 10 and 11 years) and the family suite fulfilled all our expectations. A delicious breakfast was served every morning by very friendly and accomodating staff. I can highly recommend this property when visting Kinsale.

Set in Clonakilty, at the heart of West Cork, the Fernhill House Hotel & Gardens offers its own bar, restaurant, and free Wi-Fi. The house features its own stunning landscaped gardens, surrounding the property. Beautiful property, big spacious room, great shower. Fan provided was much appreciated. Really nice meal at the restaurant and breakfast was great. Would definitely stay again.

Very convenient location near lots of restaurants in town, & museum, shops etc. Could have done with better weather, but that’s not the fault of Perryville!
