Our room was on the top floor. It was charming, quiet, clean and comfortable. For Biarritz, the price was very good especially given the proximity to the beach and the core. It was a 9 minute walk to the market in the morning.

A continental buffet breakfast is served every morning in the hotel dining room. I found the description of this hotel so interesting that I decided to go out of my way to stay here instead of continuing on to Carcassone. I had a huge room in Renaissance style with so many features and special ornamentation from that era. It was like spending the night in a museum of decorative arts. The hotel staff speak perfect English and we're kind enough to bring my bags to the room. The location is easy to find with GPS. It's not a very large city and there's plenty of free parking within convenient walking distance although the hotel does offer valet parking for a fee. This overnight was one of the highlights of my trip.
