I arrive a bit early and my room was ready. The staff was kind enough to let me try speaking French, but then they replied to me in perfect English. The room was absolutely lovely with its musical theme. Extremely comfortable bed. I liked how the sink, shower, and toilet were all separate. There were even wash cloths for us Americans that use them. The lobby was adorable and decorated for Christmas. I was seated in front of the fire place for my breakfast. The hotel had umbrellas for walking around in the rain, they had a map of the town, and made lunch and dinner recommendations. I didn't reserve a room by the garden, but I walked through it. It was a damp December day, but I can picture how beautiful it would be on a warm sunny day. Also in the garden, was the largest fluffiest cat I have ever seen.

Located between Cannes and Saint-Tropez, Le Confidentiel Hotel is located in the Valescure district of Saint Raphaël and just a 10-minute drive from the beach. Everything, room,staff,breakfast and the secure parking. Best hotel that I have stayed at in the south of France.

A 17th century property offering an outdoor pool and garden, Les Jardins de Baracane is located in the historic centre of Avignon. Free WiFi access is available. We chose Avignon as our base for 10 days of exploring Provence. We couldn't have asked for better hosts or a better place to stay than Les Jardins de Baracane. Laurence and Olivier were so charming and thoughtful. From our welcome on our first day to the interest they took in our comfort and visit to Provence, they were just lovely. They made helpful suggestions when we told them about our plans each day, which allowed us to experience things we wouldn't have found on our own. There are only five rooms, so there is an intimate feel to staying here. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The pictures of the rooms accurately show their size. I mention this because so many times pictures shown on hotel sites are taken in a way that make the rooms look bigger and nicer than they are. Here, the room is not only as nice as the picture, it's somehow even better. The courtyard garden is well kept and very relaxing. It has a cozy feel with its paths, little tables and chairs, as well as comfortable lounge chairs around the pool. There is a well-appointed kitchen with complimentary drinks and snacks. I would highly recommend Les Jardins to anyone visiting the area!

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Hotel des Lices is located in the centre of Saint-Tropez. Free WiFi access is available. The staff is incredible! They are all so nice, accommodating and anticipate your needs. Location is within walking distance to everything. The parking is worth the price. It is such a beautiful boutique hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and I work in luxury hospitality.

Bastide Saint Maurin offers B&B accommodation in the countryside near Ansouis village. This property features a heated outdoor pool, a sun terrace, a garden and a hot tub. Everything was amazing! Clean, nice room, bathroom.

Featuring free WiFi, Domaine des Peyre offers pet-friendly accommodation in Robion en Luberon. The Abbaye Notre-Dame de Senanque is a 20-minute drive from the property. beautifully decorated, pool was amazing, so quiet and refreshing! luxurious space all round.

Offering an outdoor pool and view of The Luberon Valley and the Alpilles’ range of mountains, Mas de la Beaume is located in Gordes. Super place with really helpful owners who booked restaurants and organised bikes for us. The room was lovely. Breakfast is great. Really nice pool area. Short walk into the town.

Located in Cassis, just a 10-minute walk from the seafront, La Demeure Insoupçonnée offers bed and breakfast accommodation with panoramic views of the sea, vineyards and Cape Canaille. July was an incredible host. The setting was beyond gorgeous and the breakfast was a 10/10. We will be back!
