We visited the tapestry of the apocalypse and it's fascinating. Angers is a place I would return to. Oh, and great shopping

Having been on the bicycle for 7 weeks and 1500mi, Chateau de Belle Poule was perfect to relax, watch the sunset with a glass of wine and watch the sunrise with a coffee. Everything was thought of by the hosts. Very clean, spacious, and we really enjoyed the mid-1800's buildings. Covered bicycle storage inside the gated complex was provided.

A quiet village hotel, we stayed in a converted outbuilding that had been done up to the highest standard. Beautiful courtyard garden, lovely breakfast in the conservatory and the added bonus of a restaurant right next door. It was a great place to stop over on our way back to Roscoff having done a weeks skiing in the Alps.
