The Renaissance is housed in a 17th-century mansion in central Castres. It offers air-conditioned rooms with traditional and antique furnishings. Each room also has a private bathroom and TV. I found the description of this hotel so interesting that I decided to go out of my way to stay here instead of continuing on to Carcassone. I had a huge room in Renaissance style with so many features and special ornamentation from that era. It was like spending the night in a museum of decorative arts. The hotel staff speak perfect English and we're kind enough to bring my bags to the room. The location is easy to find with GPS. It's not a very large city and there's plenty of free parking within convenient walking distance although the hotel does offer valet parking for a fee. This overnight was one of the highlights of my trip.

Hotel Europe is located in the historic heart of Castres and 67 km from Carcassonne. This 17th-century townhouse has a mix of Baroque, Italian and Spanish architecture, and free Wi-Fi access. Perfect location. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough to make the stay more enjoyable, thank you.

Located close to Rocamadour, this 17th-century mansion is set in a large, peaceful park and boasts panoramic views of the surrounding valleys. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The location, the buildings, the room, the breakfast and the service was all great. Lovely swimming pool, and cocktails available in the evenings. Very nice place to relax, wish we had stayed longer!

Located in Rocamadour, Hotel Le Troubadour welcomes you in an old 17th-century farm renovated with a heated swimming pool. It is set in the heart of a large park. Despite our off-season and very short visit to Rocamadour , we very much enjoyed our stay at the Le Troubadour - a little heaven close and distant enough from high-season crowds. Tips for the close-by villages, the very practically set up breakfast and the breakfast wine were surely good fuel for the rest of the trip.

Offering a brasserie open 7 days a week and a bar, Alchimy is located in the centre of Albi. Free WiFi access is available in the bedrooms. Albi Train Station is 1.5 km away. very nice comfortable rooms, lovely staff and really delicious food, wonderful location in the centre of Albi away from the crowds. We had a very good time.

Hôtel Le Quatorze is located in the heart of Figeac. There is a garden and a terrace and some parts of the building date back to the 13th century. The first experience at the reception was great.It is so important to meet a friendly ,welcoming face and that is exactly what we met.The room was spacious and extremely clean and comfortable.we loved the fact that the owners were environment conscious and there were little reminders everywhere to that effect.Thd breakfast was anazing.A tge food was local and labelled.A 5 star hotel wouldn't have that.It is very close to thd centre and we would highly recommend it.

Hostellerie Restaurant Les Gorges de l'Aveyron is a former watermill with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi. It is situated right next to Gorges de l'Aveyron and 23 km from Montaubant. Wonderful enchanting place on large grounds with parrots and parakeets (budgies). An old chateau with much charm and very warm hosts. Incredible gourmet restaurant.

An 18th-century property set in a 7-acre estate surrounded by vineyards, Maison d'hôtes Les Bruhasses offers free high-speed WiFi access in the entire property. Such a charming place! Amazing food for breakfast and dinner, bedrooms were extremely clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer.

Set in the historic centre of Saint-Antonin Noble Val, La Résidence Chambre d'Hotes offers B&B accommodation in an 15th-century house with a garden and furnished terrace. La Résidence was a fantastic place! Lisa and Richard were excellent hosts, providing amazing breakfast each morning, including locally-sourced ingredients in homemade food. The room was very spacious, offering great views of the picturesque St. Antonin village and surrounding hills & cliffs. The village itself is very quiet and relaxing, and La Résidence was equally quiet and relaxing. We will definitely be staying there again, and I'd strongly recommend this hotel to all!

Housed in a 19th-century building in the centre of Mazamet, Maison d'hôtes "Les Jardins de Mazamet" is 850 metres from the train station. Large clean room, nicely decorated room, good linens on the bed, great tub, heating rack.
