Hotel D'allèves ble bygget på midten av 1700-tallet, og har en rolig beliggenhet i sentrum av Genève, kun en 5-minutters spasertur fra jernbanestasjonen og 100 meter fra Genfersjøen. We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful (very unusually, though I always ask for it, they had put the correct work address on the bill and noted allergy problems even before we arrived). So often people seem to be miserable, but the staff here were all delightful. The decor is beautiful, with beams, bare walls, and other lovely touches. I should add that they upgraded our room, so we had a really brilliant room. The wifi was good, the breakfast was excellent, especially the collection of fresh fruits and berries. It was quiet, a short walk from the main station and from the centre of Geneva (in between the two). I would say even that for the quality and the comfort it was good value for money.

Completely renovated in 2015, Hotel Rousseau is located in a historic building in the centre of Geneva, only 200 metres from Lake Geneva, 300 metres from Cornavin Train Station, and right next to... The hotel is in perfect location, right in the city center, close to restaurants, shops and public transport. The room was clean and staff very polite and nice.

Renovated in September 2014, Auberge Communale de Carouge occupies a historic building in the centre of Carouge, 4 km from the centre of Geneva. It offers a restaurant and free WiFi access. Great location, close to the city centre and in a vibrant neighbourhood! There are plenty of nice and cozy restaurants nearby and the hotel's restaurant offers delicious food as well. Breakfast is good, the rooms are cleaner than most hotels in Switzerland and the staff is really friendly. The tram station right in front of the entrance door is really convenient.
