Picturesque and rustic, located in the heart of the town with the friendliest staff I’ve ever met. Rooms were large and had all the amenities you’d need. They staff were helpful and considerate and took us in the middle of the night past check in and made us feel welcome and taken care of.

Very nice multigenerationally family-run German-style Gasthof/Hotel with nicely appointed spacious rooms, nicely done modern bathroom, and fabulous breakfast spread, set in a quaint little town on the other side of the airport, where the “largest natural hot spring baths in Germany” is apparently located.

Amazing view of Neuschwanstein, underground paid parking and walking distance to everything. Romantic vibe, fitted well to celebrate my husband and I’s wedding anniversary. The Hotel Föhrenhof Garni is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Everything was better than we thought. Accommodation, personnel, amenities, exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended to everyone and definitely we'll come back in the future.
