Piccolo Hotel enjoys a quiet location, an 8-minute walk from the Locarno Train Station and the centre of the city. Most friendly personal, the cutest hotel ever - every floor in different style, very warm and cosy. The location is not in the very centre but there is a bus station 50m from the hotel with direct connection to the centre. Room was cosy, very good breakfast. Everything in this hotel is very personal. The owner will talk to you at the breakfast, the plates and cups are like they've been owned by the owners grandmother ... It's more like coming to one's home rather than to a hotel. I must say one of my most - if not the most pleasant stay ever!

מלון טמארו (Hotel Tamaro) נבנה במאה ה-18 והוא שימש אז כבית מגורים של משפחת אצולה; הוא ממוקם על חוף לאגו מג'ורה במרכז אסקונה. Exceptional views straight to Lago Maggiore. Our room was spacious and comfy and the balcony big enough to enjoy the view with a cup of coffee. The staff very friendly and the breakfast very rich and delicious. Also here you could choose to eat inside or outside, on the lake shore, absolutely amazing! It is 5 min walk from the bus stop and in the city centre so walking distance to practically everything. The port is not even 50 m away. Would recommend it!
