I booked Chewang Garden Resort last minute and got a great price with free breakfast. I was a little nervous because I knew it was an older place, which I actually prefer the style, and near the busy part of Chawang Road. All these fears were groundless. The grounds were bautiful. The room was a basic old style room, but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, the pools beautiful, and the resort was right on the beach for those who wanted that. Another plus, plenty of sunbeds! I would gladly stay here again.

The cove resort is a 30 second walk from the budget hotel. The hotel is opposite a 7-11, pharmacy, self serve laundry and an amazing fruit and shake station. Also very close to the beach clubs which are great for evening entertainment. The onsite masseuse was good! We ended up extending our stay by 2 nights.

The staff are helpful and polite, the rooms are well designed and the grounds are lovely. It’s very easy to spend the entire day on the beachfront outside the hotel, ordering drinks to your subbed and eating the great food that the restaurant serves.
