This resort is off the beaten track, I wanted peace and quiet, and that is exactly what I got for 5 days. If you want a slither of nightlife or dining options, go elsewhere, I was quite content staying at the resort, booking into the spa and walks along the beach. The villas are huge and very private, by far the best value for money. Food was well priced, Spa was well priced.

The Sala is an amazing boutique resort. It is small by comparison to the larger chains out there but this is by no means a bad thing. It has an aura of peace and quiet which was much appreciated. Set in the Mai Khao area, it is close to the airport which is an added convenience (but it is far from town so there is a downside to its location). My family and I (2 adults and 2 young kids) enjoyed our 2 bedroom pool villa. The villa was certainly spacious with 2 big bedrooms and an extra living room, not to mention an open (but sheltered) lounge by the pool. It also came with 3 full toilets and baths which was excellent. The pool was also big enough for the children to enjoy but there are bigger pools on site if you're up for a longer swim. Both rooms featured open air showers though they had an "indoor" shower if it rains (but showering in the rain is fun!). The hotel food was good with a wide range of choices. The buffet breakfast was scrumptious and well-suited for families. Facilities-wise, the Sala has a pool, gym, spa, sizeable grounds, yoga/Pilates classes, evening entertainment (incl. movie nights), a farm tour, cooking classes etc. It certainly lacks the features of the larger hotels but if you're looking for a quieter and more subtle vacation, you will appreciate what the Sala offers. The staff were also amazing. They were always helpful, friendly and professional. In particular, we were touched by the kindness of Khun Pong (who tended the luggage desk) and Khun Gift (who helped with our check-in and showed us around the resort). The team made our stay truly memorable, and we look forward to returning to the Sala in the near future.

Não gostei de nada sinceramente. Estou com raiva de vocês, porque passam para seus clientes imagens paradisíacas e espaços perfeitos, porem nem se dão o trabalho de conferir se as fotos do local são verdadeiras ou nao, ou se são de 30 anos atras. Nos venderam a imagem de um Resort, quando na verdade o local é um Hostal para mochileiros, que foi superfaturado pois pagamos 100 euros, o que valeria no máximo vale 20 a 30 euros a diária. Lembro que na Tailandia as diárias são bem econômicas, em Patong pagamos 80 Euros pelo SeaView. Confiei em vocês e acabei passando meu aniversario numa chácara maltratada do interior de Minas. Espaço mal decorado, mal conservada, péssimo cafe da manha... affe! NADA A VER COM AS FOTOS!!!!

There is an additional cafe on site called Lavazza (formerly Bread and Butter) that has some bites, ice cream, and some lunch dishes and tons of seating and outlets at each bar seat if you are working remote from here

This small hotel was exactly what we were looking for - rooms were comfortable, super clean and well laid out. We were welcomed by gracious and helpful staff, who gave us extra assistance and support that really made the end of our month-long trip to Thailand a lot easier. The location is unbeatable and enabled us to take full advantage of the beach, the water and Thai hospitality as we wrapped up a memorable stay in this beautiful, friendly country.
