La Maison de Tanger

Situated in the centre of Tangier, 2 km from the beach, this guesthouse offers an outdoor swimming pool and a view of Tangier Bay. The Grand Socco and medina are a 10-minute walk away.

Now let me say that Tanger has changed a lot in recent years. With the image of the “old” Tanger in mind, I looked for a place that would provide a little escape from what I remember to be a very bustling city. Despite the fact that Tanger clearly managed to showed itself from its best side, La Maison de Tanger lived up to being a haven of peace and green in the heart of the city. In every detail that makes its outstanding beauty, you can feel the love and care that the owners took and take to make this place a true experience. It was so nice that I decided to spend an entire day “indoors” to benefit from the lush garden and roof terrace with its splendid view of the sea front. The staff was simply outstanding, very attentive yet discreet enough to make me feel truly at home. If you are looking for a place of comfort and respite, where your every need is catered to without hesitation, then La Maison de Tanger is without doubt the place that you are looking for.

Each of the guest rooms is uniquely decorated with colourful Moroccan fabrics and artefacts from around the world. They are equipped with a private bathroom and open out onto the terrace or the interior courtyard.

Dar Nour

Situated in Tangier Medina, this B&B offers a terrace with a view of the beach and a massage room. Providing free Wi-Fi in the public areas, the property organises guided tours.
With a traditional décor, each room at the Dar Nour includes a private bathroom with shower. Some rooms also feature a seating area while the suite is bigger.

Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with a wonderful view of the city. Breakfast was delicious and the delicious.

We had an amazing stay at Dar Nakhla. It is a small and beautiful house with an even lovely host :) It was a perfect stay while being quite close to the medina. Would definitely recommend this place!

Simo and Yousra, the owner of the place, are incredible in their effort to make your stay exceptional. They care deeply and go out of their way to make sure that one has the best possible experience in Tangier. And their staff cares for their clients the same way, very personal, very caring. The hotel is perfectly located in the medina, right beneath the Kasbah. Entering the hotel took our breath away, so tasteful, taken care of with so much love; the two terraces offer a - again breathtaking - view of the harbor and Tangier (see my pics). It's truly a home away from home.

The location is just off of the corniche, and it was very comfortable, easy to get to and a good staff.

Beautiful, clean, amazing location. Breakfast was generous and excellent. Service was as well. We locked keys in the room and had many people help us. We needed a tour locally and had wonderful service. Thank you all for maintaining this gorgeous hotel.

The host is a british man so it was very easy communicate and he showed us many places to visit on my trip. The apartment is only a 10 minute walk from the Marina and a 5 minute car journey from the old Medina, which was fantastic!
