Where to start - everyone was super friendly from the beginning. The room was amazing, spacious, clean and we had a Sea View. The first night we had dinner at the bistro. The staff was a bit overwhelmed by all the guests but really made a great job, were entertaining and all. I really want to mention the food here, I had mussels and my husband cured tuna. As main we got mussels with pasta - not on the menu but by request. Thank you again for that flexibility on a fully booked evening! On the second day we wanted to come back and have more delicious mussels but forgot that the bistro was closed on that day. So we spontaneously decided to go to the Gourmet restaurant. We spent a lot of money on that mood but it was well spent. The small menu bassa marea was well thought out, very creative (presentation and taste) and some plates were very brave and one of a kind. The components and compositions were season and region oriented. It was amazing! What really made this evening perfect was the service team. My husband does not speak perfect Italian so they tried to translate every component. I want to especially highlight Antonella, the sommelier. She was super attentive and guided us through the evening. I would recommend to stay here, even if it’s just for the food. I would definitely come back if I am ever in the area again.

We were here for one night on our way to Provence and it was a perfect stopover - close to the motorway for an early start the next day.

There are several nearby shops for food. The bus service into town is good. It is of course a lovely town with lots to offer the tourist: history; the fort; the harbour; boutiques; restaurants; the beech. The cost is less than is the case in the old town. The WiFi was excellent; the best we came across during our two weeks on the Ligurian Coast.

The rooms are lovely furnished and decorated - very stylish. The appartment is renovated and everything is new and very clean. The owner lives next door and the handover of the key was easy. We even received a free card to park our car at Piazza del Popolo (parking). We can definitely recommend this apartment.
