I can't praise Hotel Abetaia enough, truly. The hotel itself is extremely clean and well taken care of. Our room and bathroom were quite spacious with plenty of ambient lighting. There was a bountiful breakfast buffet which was delicious. The hotel staff and management were always helpful no matter what was asked of them, and the owner is delightful. If you are coming to the Cinque Terre area the Hotel Abetaia is a most excellent choice.

Check in lady was super nice, told us a lot about the town. We arrived early and we were able to have our room 15 minutes after we arrived which was amazing. The town is pretty flat also so getting here was not a mansion. Close to the train station and the beach. The breakfast was actually amazing. We can’t eat gluten and there was so many options for us. The lady made us a deliscious cappuccino also

Also there were some extra things included (coffee machine in the corridor, some cereals, water and juice in the fridge).

Close to everything but quiet, very roomy and comfortable, great views, tea , coffee and snacks. Great restaurant recommendations. Levanto is the perfect base for Cinque Terre. 5 minutes by train to Monterosso and you can come back to have a break from the crowds at Cinque Terre. Lots of shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

The host greets you and gave us a full itinery of what is available to visit, do and eat. The Cinque Terre was very busy so we decided to stay local, Levanto and surrounding area was beautiful. The room was lovely and the bar was well stocked with more food options than we expected. But the highlight by far is the pool and the setting, I can't imagine a nicer place to go for a swim than high in the hills above the sea at sunset! Absolutely stunning.

There was also a small garden where we had our designated table to eat at. The host was giving us a card in order to park free of charge at the Levanto train station. It was calm and at night we could hear birds and insects. We received a nice home-made jam pot as a goodbye gift.

The house itself is well equipped for summer and winter, all the appliances neeeded, great Wifi and the most gorgeous view. Very comfortable, parking right outside the door (not designated but ample available). As you arrive it seems very far from town but it is only a 8min drive to Levanto where you can take the train to the other areas. Breakfast and mini-fridge supplies (e.g., waters, juice, fruits and meats) were provided every day. The location is excellent - easy walking distance to the the beach, shops and local restaurants. Guests also have access to a common terrace, which makes for a lovely retreat after a day of sightseeing. All of this is topped off with friendly and fabulously accommodating hosts, Valentina and Mirko.
