The rooms looked just like in the pictures, the beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were nice and clean - only the stone plate on the sink was not good levelled, so the water was always running down on the right-hand side, when washing hands. And a handheld shower would have been nicer than a stationary one. But that really were only minor issues. The rooms had a view over the gardens, which was very nice and quiet. The hotel, the entrance, the breakfast room and the bar were really nice and we really felt comfortable. We can understand, why this hotel is a good venue for wedding celebrations. The hotel even has lifts, so you don't have to carry your luggage up the stairs (not something every hotel has in Ireland) and a vending machine for mineral water and other things. And last but not least the staff was really friendly, helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay there very much and would choose the hotel again when we were in the area.

I've been using the Athlone Springs Hotel for over 10 years now & I can't fault it. I regularly use their meeting room facilities & their accommodation. I've found them to be of the highest standard. From the moment you enter the hotel you'll find all the staff friendly & helpful from the reception desk to the conference staff & the amazing breakfast team. All go above & beyond to make your stay as stress free & comfortable as possible. I've stayed in many hotels throughout Ireland & I would rate the Athlone Springs Hotel as the No.1 for hospitality & service. A special mention to Nicole in conference & events who is an absolute asset to the team & has made all my booking a breeze to organise. These Apartments are absolutely brilliant, our stay was made so enjoyable due to the comfort we enjoyed while staying here, large sitting room with 3 sofas, dining table & chairs, cable tv with Netflix, Washing Machine, Dishwasher, Microwave, Fridge, The bedrooms had a very comfortable double bed & Single bed, en-suite bathroom, ironing board,iron & hairdryer, the apartments were spotless clean, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, especially Mohammed, the owner Maureen is just the nicest host to deal with on the phone ensuring our stay went great, please note there are stairs up to the apartments which were not to bad as the staff carry your luggage up for you, Overall these apartments are better, if not the best to stay in ,than other places we have stayed in Athlone, as they are right in the town center.
