We stayed here to visit Oxford and Cotswolds, and this place is made for it! Very close to Oxford, just couple minutes drive to Park&ride there. And very beautiful Cotswold towns are also close and convenient to rich. We got the room on 1st floor, really nice and cosy, our dog loved low floor window he could watch who goes in the street. Excellent food and drinks in the bar, and we were very pleased with real fireplace - it was rainy cold weather outside.

The beautiful, light-filled Library was an unexpected highlight as we needed a quiet space to work. Our room was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. We enjoyed dinner on the patio and breakfast in the stylish dining room. The staff are top notch and anticipated all of our needs.

We expected that the hotel would be quite noisy, especially as we had a room beside the beer garden and close to the road. However this was never an issue. We also thought the hotel may have been a bit far from the High street, but it was an easy walk to all the tourist attractions. And to stroll along the river was quite idyllic.
