What for a charming and stylish decorated room - and it has been topped by the view over Oban and it's shore (if there is no fog). We loved this house and the spirit of Ian and his very kind wife. We slept very well and would surprised with great and perfect presented breakfast. It couldn't be any better, thank's.

The building is beautiful, the room was clean and the views breath taking. They even left two bowls, a treat and a bed for our dog. The room is beautiful decorated and with plenty of detail. The owners were very nice and you could see the care and dedication they put into everything. For our next visit to Oban I won't hesitate to stay at the Barriemore Oban again.

Everything was EXCELLENT!! Lovely room with en-suite and wee bay window to sit in and enjoy the AMAZING VIEW of the beautiful harbour! Ferries coming and going constantly. Fantastic location looking right down on the Oban Distillery. The HUGE flight of stairs to get from the seaside street up to the Guest House street was certainly a way to burn off the chowder/haggis/beers (all food experiences GREAT here), but beautiful views and benches at landings to catch your breath and enjoy. Oban and the Invercloy was our fave Scotland stop!

The staff were very kind. The breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the shower was super. Very central location. Just a few minutes walk from the shore.
