We had a lovely stay at By The Sea Guest House. The accommodations were cozy and we could easily walk to shops, restaurants and the ocean. The hosts, Julie and Wilson were so kind and helpful. Hotel was older (as in vintage) but clean and the proprietor was incredibly nice and accommodating (no pun intended). We had a diverted flight from Ireland to Scotland and had booked a room at 2am so very inconvenient to the hotel, but not only did they get us booked in quickly, scrounged for fruit first is you ready since we were starving... Wonderful location next to the beach, lovely accommodations and best of all, the manager, Linda, was so sweet and helpful, getting rooms near to each other for my kids, helping us get taxis and even helping us find my my long lost relations! unbelievable stay-our room even looked out on the tower of the ancient tower where Robert the Bruce was crowned.
