Comfortable, modern and nicely decorated, big living room and bedroom, small but complete kitchenette, near the cathedral and main interest points, walking distance from the castle and tapestry, good wifi. Ground floor, very convenient for senior couple!

The breakfast was delicious! My husband loved the cheeses that were offered and I loved the pastries. The garden in the back was lovely and we were located very centrally, just a 10 minute walk from the center of town.

What a beautiful hotel! The staff were outstanding, probably the best we have met on our travels so far. I loved walking down the dark moody corridor to our room, it had a fabulous 1920's feel to it and the room was beautiful and spacious. The location was excellent, so close to the historic centre, which had a very handy blue line to follow for a walking tour of the city!

This is the perfect spot to sit and relax. Having been on the bicycle for 7 weeks and 1500mi, Chateau de Belle Poule was perfect to relax, watch the sunset with a glass of wine and watch the sunrise with a coffee. Everything was thought of by the hosts. Very clean, spacious, and we really enjoyed the mid-1800's buildings. Covered bicycle storage inside the gated complex was provided.
