When I came for check in on Thursday evening, the Sir at the reception was very kind, polite and friendly. What a warm welcome! I was impressed how clean and tidy is the hotel, comfortable bed, water at the fridge, shiny bathroom. The breakfast was very delicious, it was good my day to start with a good orange juice. 10/10 from my side for Hotel Wettstein. Todor D.

This is a true gem! The location is unbeatable - central Basel. Everything is close. The room was spotlessly clean. The wifi was free and fast. The bed linen from famous Swiss producer Schlossberg was luxurious and soft. The towels also pure Schlossberg quality. The bed was super comfortable. Two types of pillows available: feather and foam. The foam one was a dream. Perfect pillow. The air condition worked flawlessly. The bath tub and shower head the best ever. The body lotion is wonderful. The trash in bathroom is huge & exactly what I always miss. Bravo! Toilet, sink and taps in old fashioned, castle style - pure luxury. Everything was amazing in this room. Super friendly staff at the hotel and reception. I loved it all! Tip: I've parked spontaneously at the nearby underground SBB park-house and it was a pure jackpot; they have extra large parking places. We paid 17 Swiss Francs for one night of parking. This was an amazing discovery, knowing how expensive public parking is Switzerland is.
