200 meters from Katoomba Train Station, The Carrington offers elegant accommodation in a heritage-listed refurbished manor. It features fine dining and casual dining options, multiple bars and a performance space.

Our two days in the Blue Mountains unfortunately fell victim to the Northeaster coming in - visibility was less than 100m, sometimes even the other side of the street seemed foggy and it rained cats and dogs. So we were very happy about this cozy hotel! It is historic and well-preserved (but of course with all modern amenities you need in the rooms). Fun to explore the different rooms, there's a nice bar and somewhere they have hidden away a brewery it seems. Oh, and the dining room... Great - had a good breakfast there (we had enjoyed dinner in the other brewery in town). The room was a bit smaller than expected, but for one night it was ok. It was quiet and we slept very well. There is a new parking garage next to the hotel - only disadvantage is, that you are exposed to the elements when you walk over there.

Room was great - exactly as advertised, and we loved how cosy it was! Had an amazing time working, reading and relaxing in the Library, and the building as a whole was beautiful. The parking around back was a pleasant surprise - would stay again

Staying at this hotel is like being wrapped in a cozy blanket of luxury, with views that could make even the most seasoned traveler pinch themselves just to check if it's real. The scenery outside the window is so stunning, it's like Mother Nature hired a personal decorator. And let's talk about the rooms - they're so lovely, I half expected them to tuck me in at night and read me a bedtime story. It's like sleeping in a cloud made of marshmallows and dreams.

The whole place was an aesthetic pleasure! It was gorgeously designed and a lot of thought and care had gone into this. Loved the bathroom, and how friendly the host Jilea was. She provided us with a lot of information prior to our stay. It is also walking distance to the three sisters and to Katoomba town, with bus stops also located nearby.

The property was well designed and built. Not only it looks luxurious and modern, it also functions so well. It looks exactly like the photos but only better. The collection of the books and games is amazing. The pool area is stunning. The skylines are beautiful. We walked to the Echo Point to see the Three Sisters. It only took 13 mins. 3 mins drive to Woolworth and Main Street. Staffs are helpful and attentive. We totally loved the house. I would love to spend longer time there. Highly recommended.

We stayed at this lovely boutique hotel in the peak season and so the cost per night was double their normal rates I believe. However given the last two years of Covid and being a local business I am happy to support this business. The bed was extremely comfortable. It is a great location to walk to restaurants on the main street. Free on-site parking was fantastic. The room was clean enough, but a bit dusty. Though being a beautiful old hotel you could hear people walk past the room door.
