Nestled in the greenery at Barken's Beach, this manor house dates back to 1725 and is situated just a few metres from the tranquil waters of Lake Barken in Bergslagen. The property offers a spa and wellness centre which features a sauna, rain showers and a large hot tub. The atmosphere was exceptionel. Such a lovely old wooden house, cosy bed and room, and even the Internet was decent. The setting at the Lake is just beautiful. The Best, however, was the food. Don't miss out on the authentic swedish breakfast, but The three-course-dinner was one of the best i have ever had. worth every penny!

The traditional Swedish charm and environment. The accommodations were roomy, very comfortable. The B&B was situated on the river with a very large beautiful green lawn as well as gardens. The owner and nephew were exceptional hosts. We were served a very complete breakfast in a very warm dining setting. We absolutely loved the country feel of the area with numerous horse stables and small farms. Very relaxing place to spend some needed down time.

First Camp Orsa - Dalarna is located on the seafront in Orsa, 35 km from Tomteland and 17 km from Zorn Museum. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the country house free of charge. The country house features a family-friendly restaurant, and is 17 km away from Vasaloppet Museum. It’s very family friendly. The kids could ride their bikes around. We stayed at the cabin with a lake view; 2 adults and 2 kids. It was very clean and comfortable. The best part was having a veranda right in front of the lake. The reception has a bowling alley; we had great fun.

This elegant hotel, dating back to the early 1900s, is peacefully surrounded by nature. Central Leksand is a 10-minute walk away. It offers views over Lake Siljan, a large furnished terrace and free Wi-Fi. The ambience, atmosphere, and decor. It felt like stepping back in time into a more gracious and less rushed age. There was something very special about this hotel which I liked very much. The views towards Lake Siljan were lovely also. In addition, I liked the many black and white photos from the past, the comfortable and spacious lounge, the piano, and the coffee room with the selection of icecreams.
