We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.

Quinta do Valdalágea asub Peso da Réguas, 4,2 km kaugusel Douro muuseumist ja 10 km kaugusel Püha Jumalaema hooldamise pühamust. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus, konditsioneer, aed ja ühine puhkeruum.... The Quinta do Valdelágea was lovely. It had my essential requirements: a good shower with plenty of hot water and comfy beds. The breakfast was delicious and especially nice the last day when we could eat outside. Anabel was most helpful. This was probably our favorite place in our entire Portugal stay.

Quinta da Pousada Casa de Campo asub Santa Marta de Penaguiãos, 26 km kaugusel Püha Neitsi Maarja pühamust, 28 km kaugusel Naturi veepargist ja 19 km kaugusel Mateuse paleest. The room was very nice; sparkling clean, spacious and it had a little private balcony. The continental breakfast was delicious with a combination of fresh aliments. Highly recommend getting the dinner menu at the restaurant; great food, amazing wine and excellent service. Happy we decided to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday in this place. It was a lovely experience; Carlos and the Staff were extraordinary and helped with all the arrangements. Couldn’t have wished for better!

We absolutely loved this magical place, and the care and dedication to detail by the proprietor (Cidália) is obvious everywhere. She grew up on the property and we are so thankful she shares it with us!

Area is very quiet.

Moleiro de Baçal asub Baçalis kivist maamajas, kõigest 7 km kaugusel Bragançast. Kohapeal on mugavad toad ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Moleiro de Bacal is a lovely country home located just outside of Braganca. Maria Jose is the most gracious hostess. Our room was huge with a spacious terrace outside of our bedroom where you can sit in the shade and enjoy the afternoon breeze. Maria Jose will schedule your homecooked breakfast at the time you wish - huge portions of scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, bread, coffee and her homemade jams. We were within a 15 to 20 minute drive of the modern city of Braganca which we enjoyed exploring the fort and the Museum of Masks. One evening we had the most delicious wild game dinner at the Restaurante Solar Braganca in town. We also drove up to the tiny village of Rio de Onor one afternoon and the village of Montesinho on another day. So quiet and relaxing. We highly recommend staying with Maria Jose in her beautiful country home.
