We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.

Great location for exploring Eastern parts of geres national park. Beautiful place, great swimming pool. Family room couldn't be better with separate rooms for children and parents. Kind and helpful hosts.

Very nice staff. Very clean. The selvservice breakfast very good - we were brought fresh bread in the morning

Situated in Peso da Régua, 4.2 km from Douro Museum and 10 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, Quinta do Valdalágea features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a shared... The Quinta do Valdelágea was lovely. It had my essential requirements: a good shower with plenty of hot water and comfy beds. The breakfast was delicious and especially nice the last day when we could eat outside. Anabel was most helpful. This was probably our favorite place in our entire Portugal stay.

Highly recommend getting the dinner menu at the restaurant; great food, amazing wine and excellent service. Happy we decided to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday in this place. It was a lovely experience; Carlos and the Staff were extraordinary and helped with all the arrangements. Couldn’t have wished for better!
