Our unit was on 2 floors - all spotless. Far more space than we needed. Wonderful gardens with a large pool. Parking right outside our apartment. The property is secure with gated access. Gorgeous views all round. A really lovely place. Highly recommend We ate at a super local restaurant called “Ponto de Encontro”. 3 courses for 2 people plus drinks and all for €37. A great stopover and only sorry it was just for one night

The building and decor are beautiful - it felt luxurious from the moment we stepped in. The host were friendly and helpful. Our host 'mom' was absolutely lovely.

It was awesome and perfect i could not have imagined anything more good. Privacy, cleanliness, huge space, its very beautiful, everything was outstanding and the most amazing host. The host was so humble polite and cooperative. I will highly recommend this place and will surely visit again.

Unhais Valley - Country House dispone de bicicletas gratis y está en Unhais da Serra, a 38 km de Parque Natural Sierra de la Estrella y a 39 km y a Capilla del Calvario de Belmonte. Super nice hosts. Clean and quiet place. Great views from the room and common room.

We would come here to stay every weekend if we could! The place is so quiet and charming, and every little detail (from interior to key chain) is made with so much love. The house stands on a hillside with a lovely view, surrounded by forest. In autumn it turns all golden. There is a terrace (and a hammock!) outside to enjoy a cup of tea or even breakfast on warm days. The breakfast is delicious, and on cold evenings you can have a good wine in front of the fireplace in the sitting room. The hosts are a lovely couple who take care of the guests as of family or friends. We did promise to come back!

Experiencing Casa do Fundo is like experiencing a piece of history in the Serra d’Estrela foothills. Pedro greats you with a warm welcome to his Bed and Breakfast which was first run by his grandparents in this beautifully maintained and restored 120 year old building. The building and it’s out buildings tell the story of the neighborhood if take the time to ask questiones. The beautiful “forno” in the side yard was shared by the neighbors on bread day- but now his bread is delivered fresh with the honk of a horn. Pedro has maintained a lot of the antique furniture and it is a privilege to use it. It appears that he serves the wonderful typical Portuguese breakfast with his grandmothers dishes. Note- this breakfast is typical for the types of foods provided, but atypical for the variety of cheeses, breads, sweets and cereals that he offers. The location is country side, a short drive out of Seia where you are greeted by the sheep that stay nearby at night. If you like to experience the history and culture of Portugal, appreciate beautiful landscaping and a warm personality- choose Pedro’s. If you like cookie cutter lodging and standard food- you need to go somewhere else.

Impagable ver la vida cotidiana del pueblo a través de las ventanas. Pastor con sus chivas y perros, señoras de negro yendo a la iglesia... Todo, menos un enchufe, funciona.
