Peaceful paradise in nature. Fabulously clean apartment with a functional kitchen. My family loved the pool and the common area with the pool table. 5 minutes away was a great local restaurant called Madeira’s.

Jaime is a wonderful host and welcomed us upon arrival. He recommended a good restaurant 10 minutes away and was available if we had any concerns which we did not. Probably most fun during the summer season. View was spectacular. We had a lovely outdoor seating area and a very spacious room.

The property was comfortable with so much attention to every detail that could add to comfort- comfortable beds, thick plush towels, assorted pillow styles,, heated towel rack. It was very quiet, & set in a beautiful garden. I am here in early spring with only a few blooming plants, but i can imagine it will be spectacular in full bloom. Isabel was so kind & went way beyond what i would expect to be sure everything was perfect for my stay- she even called a nearby restaurant to be sure they had outdoor seating & that my dog could go along. I felt like i was staying with a friend! I will definitely be back

Quiet place to energize yourself with an amazing view, reading a good book next to the fireplace. Clean, cozy, and excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff.

We stayed in the apartment which was very spacious and neat. The rooms were great and the covers to block the windows during night essential. Great stay!

The best experience we've had! The place is quiet and very considerate — here circular economy and sustainability and really taken seriously. The owner is such a great host! The breakfast features freshly baked bread, homemade jam and cheese, and is just amazing. If this place is available, book it immediately and you won't regret it.

Solar da Castanha - Forest House ligger i Manteigas och erbjuder boende med utsikt över bergen samt en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en bar. We loved the location, the forest house exudes a sense of peacefulness and tranquility surrounded by mountains and nature, it felt very cosy. Our room was excellent and big enough for a family of three, very comfortable bed I must add. Superb breakfasts which we had outside with the beautiful scenery. The hosts Pedro and Beatriz went out of their way to welcome us and make us comfortable, excellent experience all round with nice touches like a welcome drink when we arrived. We hope to be back one day. We also loved the resident cat who was very friendly :)

Quinta Lusitânia ligger i Santa Comba Dão och erbjuder boende med utsikt över poolen samt en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en bar. We loved the house and surroundings. It was nicely decorated and full of details and history. Room was very comfortable and has enough space for three of us. We have enjoyed horse riding lesson (thanks to Miguel, Tina & Lily and of course to pipoca, Didi and Amanhecer , we will definitely come back for more.. :) Thanks a lot for your hospitality and letting your home being ours during this short but amazing stay!
