A modern building with rustic charm. We had the entire place to ourselves. Large breakfast room, common room and pool area. 2 fireplaces for cold days but it was 29 degrees during our visit so the AC was more important. Beautiful night sky and a rooster in the morning! Nice breakfast prepared by the housekeeper.

Casa da Padaria features accommodation in Piódão. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 47 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela. Frokosten var veldig bra, med lokale råvarer, rommet var rent og med fine tekstiler ( sengetøy, gardiner, tepper). Hotellet hadde mye historie og var sjarmerende. Hyggelig vertskap.

Cerdeira - Home for Creativity houses an arts and crafts school, is hidden in Serra da Lousã and offers traditional units built in schist surrounded by an undulating landscape. The village is remote but beautiful. The schist houses are well preserved and there are many trials nearby. The village also offers different creative experiences/ art workshops for visitors and we highly recommend doing one.

Great place to get away from the busy city life. So relaxing and calm. An experience that I plan on repeating in the near future. It‘s a lovey modern house with an open fire . The owners are so nice and made us welcome immediately . We stopped on the cahimho and highly recommended.
