Incredibly comfy pillows and very comfortable mattress. Also really soft and extra fresh bed sheets. The whole room and cabin were decorated with beautiful wood carvings and loved the smell of fresh wood work as well. Ultra brand new all the facilities. the lady host was fully of energy, super jolly and very welcoming both on arrival and departure.

We came for 3 nights, and we booked 3 rooms for 7 people. (2 double rooms and 1 triple). The house was fantastic, with warm water, normal room temperature, and a kitchen that the owner was letting us to use freely! We cooked some meals one day! Everything was clean and nice decorated. We really liked that it was a traditional wooden house. Also there is free parking, which we parked our mini bus easily. Outside of the hotel also there is bus stop to Zakopane for anyone that doesn't have a car. Also the location has a nice view of the Tatra mountains and is quite.

We were in a top-floor room, which meant angled ceilings and a dormer window - with a spectacular view across the Klimkowa reservoir to the hills beyond. Although there was a heat wave when we visited, the provision of three windows (shower room and one window in one wall, larger window overlooking the water) meant that there was better ventilation than is usual in rented accommodation. The architect had made the very best possible use of space - and I loved the commitment to using natural wood. * Food - absolutely the best breakfast buffet spread we experienced in Poland (including in four-star hotels). And it was the only place we found decaf coffee (albeit instant). Jose's Spanish cooking for two evening meals was delightful, and his baking was outstanding. * Coming to this region in order to have a better understanding of my Lemko heritage, I appreciated being able to talk with Piotr about the history of his family in Klimkowa and the land on which Barnilka had been built.
