Le Coffret is a rural house dating back to 1779. It is located in Jayer area of Saint Marcel, 2 km from the Dora Baltea River and 12 km from Aosta. Breakfast was delicious. We had breakfast outside in the garden. Everything was well presented and well made.

Set at an altitude of 1500 metres, La Gruba Relais is less than 10 minutes' drive from Gaby town centre. It offers a 400 m² garden, a terrace with sun loungers and a peaceful setting. It is a beautiful location that was the perfect blend of old and rustic and new and modern.

Mauro is a very accommodating host, he was nice and very welcoming. The apartment is great, very nicely equipped and the whirlpool is a real highlight after a long hike.

Offering a garden and garden view, Le Petit Château de Vetan CIR 0023 is located in Saint-Pierre, 48 km from Step Into the Void and 48 km from Aiguille du Midi. Wonderful quiet place with great views and very nice host. If you love the mountains, this is the place for you.

Located approximately 350 metres from Valpelline’s historic centre in Aosta Valley, La Maison de Franco is 954 metres above sea level. Wired internet is free in all rooms. La Mason de Franco was one of four favorite hotels in the Aosta valley of Italy. It was conveniently situated just steps from the center of town so that we could access the small number of cafes, bars and shops - and had lovely views of the surrounding mountains from all of the windows and porches. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean with comfortable beds and bedding. But the real highlight of this hotel was Laura, the host and owner of the property. We ate dinner and breakfast at her restaurant downstairs - and she pulled out all the stops to serve lovely meals for us and even accommodated an early breakfast for us. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

Set in Antey-Saint-André, Agriturismo Au Jardin Fleuri is in Valtournenche Valley. This family-run farmhouse serves delicious local produce in its restaurant and offers homemade cakes at breakfast. Great place to stay. The owner was super nice. Highly recommend.

Hotel Hermitage is located at 2050 metres above sea level, at the foot of the Matterhorn, and provides a free shuttle to the ski lifts. This hotel is true, old world, alpine luxury. The location is exquisite - in the beautiful valley at the base of the Matterhorn (Cervino); ask for a room with THAT view. They accommodate pets. But it all starts with the staff - all with excellent attention to details, helpful and friendly. Go to their bar and sample cocktails at the huge lobby fireplace or outside. Special note of the barman, who new his stuff. The SPA is excellent and very clean. The rooms are great, with all amenities.

Surrounded by mountains, Affittacamere Il Contadino offers rustic accommodation in a 19th-century country house featuring typical Val D'Aosta architecture. A beautiful Alpine house set in an idyllic valley great views and cats!

The Résidence Château Royal is located in a building dating back to the 13th century. It offers free Wi-fi, free parking and apartments with fully fitted kitchenette and satellite TV. I recommend it. The whole was really good. Next to the lift from the car park which was ideal because I had 3 backpacks full of gear. Close to nice restaurants, beautiful views by the windows, very cute and well equiped apartment, jacuzzi and sauna in the basement (is a shame I had delayed flights and couldn’t enjoy it) everything super clean. Excellent staff 10/10 very communicative, attentive, helpful and friendly.
