I liked the history of this Masseria, it was sensitively restored to make a wonderful place to stay. It is well positioned, only a few minutes drive from the city of Matera, and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Pasquale is a super host and always available to provide information and advice on what to see and what you can visit in the area. A special mention to the breakfast which surpassed our expectations with locally sourced and home made produce.

Aiavaate, tasuta WiFi-ühenduse ja tasuta eraparklaga Angelo's Country House asub Bernaldas, 40 km kaugusel Casa Grotta nei Sassist. Angelo was the perfect host, always on hand if you needed him. The small complex set in the countryside and offering peace and tranquility, contains 1 x 2 bedroom apartment and 1 x 1 bedroom apartment and our room which was described as a double room with garden views. Our double room turned out to be a massive one-room apartment with a new kitchen and dining area and a good size shower room. Outside the gardens are extensive and fully enclosed so we didn't have to worry about our dogs wandering off. Outdoor dining and seating areas under the shade of the Mulberry tree are on offer for all to use. Also in the enclosure were Gigi the dog, two donkeys, and a horse called Samantha. Chickens galore. It's almost a petting zoo so if you have small kids, they'll love it. It truly is one of the best places we've stayed. A unique experience. A big thank you to Angelo and his family.

Amazing spot to relax, disconnect, enjoy nature, good food and incredible landscapes. The rooms are spacious and filled with comfort. The restaurant is outstanding in terms of price quality relation. The only minor defect is the pool that needs some maintenance. But with all the amazing beaches in the surroundings, no probs at all! Very friendly and professional owner. Staff super nice and helpful.

Dominica was is an angel she could not be more helpful. The B&B was in the perfect location. The accommodation had everything one could need to be comfortable and for a good nights sleep. Thank you!!

The family is very friendly and you instantly feel at home! Food in the Restaurant is great, no need to go else where - same applies for the breakfast with homemade cake, jam etc. Our room was clean, spacious and well maintained!

We love being out in the countryside, which this was and it was wonderfully quiet. We found a wonderful restaurant down the road which our host had recommended.

This stay was truely memorable. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave you feel like smiling!! The hosts have created a fantastic, and genuine farm stay with superb locally produced food and trimmings. The buildings have been faithfully restored including wonderful art works from Raffael (not 'THE' Raffael, but a fantastic artist nonetheless!). The grounds are vibrant and peaceful! The 3 course evening meal, and breakfast, prepared by the owner from the seasonal fruits of their labour were simply perfect, and the service by her son charming!!!

La Commenda di Picciano - Country House asub Materas, Palombaro Lungost ja Matera katedraalist 14 km kaugusel. Tubades on konditsioneer ja privaatne vannituba. Beautiful countryside residence, close to Matera ….. a very beautiful old city. Peaceful & relaxing back at the country house after a long busy day travelling around local towns. Bed very comfortable. Hosts were fantastic, very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great with some home cooked sweets , coffee, fruit juice, etc. I would definitely stay here again.
