Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. Hard to know where to start - extremely well thought through accommodation from the hosts Wolfgang and Maria. The countryside location meant it was super peaceful and there were a number of area to chill with the great honesty bar facilities. Breakfast was the best we had on the tour. Still don’t think I am capturing the uniqueness of this place - it is way above anything else we stayed in that sea to get similar scores on sites like booking.com. if we were doing this trip again we would make this a base for a few days.

Located just 1.5 km from Killarney High Street, Gleann Fia Country House offers guests e car charging and free parking. Located on the river Deenagh with acres of wild garden. Bar on site, and library. Bed was very comfortable.

Breakfast was just amazing. A big variety of great food, also some products that were totally new for us. A big quantity as well, nobody will leave a house hungry! Also, Sheelagh was very welcoming and when we asked to stay a bit longer in her house than check out time, she agreed and even offered extra coffee. Very nice stay, highly recommended!

We loved everything about Rolfs. It was an absolutely perfect place to start our honeymoon in Ireland. The personnel (beautiful, friendly people), our room (spotless, comfortable - everything we needed) the food (phenomenal - first class! We ate here 2 evenings in a row!), the drinks (dangerously tasty and perfectly made), the garden (just heavenly!!), the location (excellent for exploring Baltimore), the dog (they the most gorgeous poodle!!!). There is no doubt it, we will be back again to Baltimore to stay at Rolfs wonderfully charming guest house in the future!

Luxurious is the perfect term for this accommodation. Guess it was the best B&B we stayed in during our whole vacation. It was just perfect in every single way. Great place, beautiful room, lovely host and delicious breakfast.

Located on the Beara Peninsula, where the Beara Way meets the Wild Atlantic Way, Rodeen Country House is 2.4 km from Castletownbere. Free WiFi and free private parking are available on site. The host's were very friendly and helpful with information on the different things to do in the area, it's a very relaxing place to be, Phillip the host is an awesome cook and I didn't want to leave at the end of my stay.

Offering a restaurant, Kilcooly's Country House Hotel is located in Ballybunion. With free WiFi and free onsite parking, the property is just over 10 km from Carrigaholt Towerhouse. Best breakfast I have had for years, staff super friendly and helpful, lovely property, great room, great shower, would look forward to staying here again when in the area.

Inch View Lodge is located in Milltown, on a working, family-run farm. Free WiFi access is available in this country house. Featuring a shower, private bathrooms also come with a hairdryer. Very kind people & amazing spot!
