Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. Hard to know where to start - extremely well thought through accommodation from the hosts Wolfgang and Maria. The countryside location meant it was super peaceful and there were a number of area to chill with the great honesty bar facilities. Breakfast was the best we had on the tour. Still don’t think I am capturing the uniqueness of this place - it is way above anything else we stayed in that sea to get similar scores on sites like booking.com. if we were doing this trip again we would make this a base for a few days.

This country house hotel has a quiet location, looking out over the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands and Galway Bay. It has free parking, luxury rooms and an award-winning restaurant. Excellent breakfast. Very close to Dooline. Huge bed. Great hospitality.

Set in Lahinch and only 15 km from Cliffs of Moher, Suaimhneas offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The location was amazing and very close to Lahinch town centre. With picturesque views of the ocean and country side. The accomodation was clean and very comfortable to stay in. And Helen was very welcoming and accomodating. Her two dogs and two cats were extremely friendly and would definitely recommend if you’re an animal lover.

Offering views to the Cliffs of Moher, Doolinsunset is set in a rural location, 4.6 km from the village of Doolin and 1.3 km from Doolin Cave. very comfortable room and great location

Built in the Georgian period in 1736, Aran View Country House stands on a hill on the coast road and commands one of the finest views of the wild Clare coastline. A beautiful place to stay. It felt quite grand, but so comfortable and welcoming at the same time. Such a comfortable bed and so lovely to have a very spacious room. It was incredibly helpful to get some washing done here as well. Nothing was a problem. An excellent place to stay.

Country House 20 minutes to Galway City, a property with a garden, is set in Kilcolgan, 21 km from Galway Railway Station, 22 km from St. The extra touches added. ie a video explaining how the heating works.. the handwritten note with details of the area. I can't say enough about their kindness and attention to detail
