Superb hospitality in a cosy and comfortable place. I was made to feel so welcome I wished I was staying longer - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was superb. Even leaving on an icy morning was made easier, as Madeline helped clear the car and pointed out the best route (she was totally right, of course!)

The 4-star Killyliss Country House B&B is surrounded by countryside and lakes. It is less than 20 minutes' drive from both Cavan and Monaghan and it offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. My host Pauline was so lovely and welcoming. You feel at ease as soon as you open the door. Pauline was very helpful providing local restaurants for the evening and directions for my onwards travel the following day. There is a few towns around the area so you can easily find places to eat or activities. The B&B itself is the perfect relaxing escape. It's very quiet, but surrounded by beautiful scenery. Perfect place to relax and unwind. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was great. There's a tv and books on Ireland for entertainment. Easy to find and well sign posted.

Located on the shores of Lough Muckno, just 10 minutes’s walk from Castleblayney, White Hill Country House features B&B and self-catering accommodation, 1.6 km from Concra Wood Golf & County Club. The drive up to the house from the road was beautiful! A short walk up the property gives one of the most beautiful views of the area. Breakfast was hearty and served in a dining room. All of the other guests were very friendly. The room Wi-Fi was free and worked well. The hosts were lovely!

Located in Inniskeen, Gleneven Guest House offers accommodation with free WiFi, seating area and TV. A continental or Full English/Irish breakfast is available daily at the property. Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming! We stayed here for one night after flying into Dublin. He made us a delicious breakfast in the morning before we left :) I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!
