The Walnuts is a 300-year old Grade II listed, former gentleman's residence and latterly the village shop, until 1960. Steven and Diane were perfect hosts. It was a large open plan studio with separate kitchen and bathroom. Immaculately clean. Steven was an ex amateur jockey so if you are into horse racing he would have a few stories for you. The generous fresh continental breakfast was definitely worth paying for

Around 4 miles from Sudbury, Rectory Manor offers provides elegant rooms with beautiful garden views. With a swimming pool and tennis court, it also offers free parking and Wi-Fi. very hidden away, with large open grounds and a comfortable family feel house. the pool added a special touch.

House is beautifully extended and furnished. Clean, comfortable room. Shared bathroom with hosts but no problem in accessing it when needed. Local pub within 15 min walk with extensive menu and good value food. Continental breakfast but good choice on offer and decent coffee.
