It was our second stay in this lovely B&B. The room is absolutely fantastic furnitured with empire furniture which gives you a feeling like being a Royal. Our room had a separate entrance and you can go and come as you please. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom has a beautiful shower. The host Helga is very friendly and helpful. Helga speaks even an excellent German and Norwegian. Lovely to hear about the family and the history of this old building. Breakfast is served in the family's dining room and it makes you feel like you are part of the family. The property is hidden away from the street and next to the church. It is absolutely quiet and in the morning you hear the birds sing.

Tonge Barn was an absolute dream of a stay! The rooms were roomy, clean and very tastefully decorated. the owner was welcoming and so friendly and helpful. would definitely recommend Tonge Barn to anyone!

Absolutely beautiful building/accommodation, set in a lovely estate that has everything you coulld possibly need. The whole experience felt cosy, clean and relaxing. The beds were super comfy, the living space was pleasant, but the biggest highlight was the hot tub! Exactly what myself and my family (and doggies!) needed out of a mini-break away for my Dad's 60th Birthday. The hosts themselves were lovely and attentive. The young gentlemen in particular who showed us to the accommodation was most helpful and welcoming. And thank you so much to the gentlemen (I think, Ian?) who came round on our last evening to let us know that no one was checking in next day and we could take our time in the morning :) definitely didn't want to leave!

The Piggery, Quex Park Estate is situated in Birchington, 24 km from Canterbury Cathedral, 24 km from Deal Castle, as well as 24 km from Canterbury WestTrain Station. We had self catering apartment so we prepared our own meals

The staff was friendly, and the rooms were much nicer than we actually expected; spatious and completely equipped. The castle itself is a worthwhile attraction, and so are the garden and environs. While it may seem isolated from the rest of Kent, a taxi or bus ride can get you to Maidstone or Ashford, and from there you are free to do any day trips to Canterbury, Dungeness or London. And the breakfast was amazing!
